Hello!

Writing is not something I do, it's very much who I am. Left legally deaf after a bout of spinal meningitis at 3 months old, the written word was my gateway to basic communication. I learned how to read by the time I was 3 years old, and wrote my first poem a year later.

At 15 I scored an internship with an NBC affiliate out of Louisville, Kentucky, and anchored my own teen news program for 4 years. I handled everything from copywriting, to editing, and reporting the news twice a day, 5 days a week. 

But it didn't satisfy my soul. 

10 years ago I began building a writing platform on social media, getting my work out there and busting my butt to make something of all the words my soul bleeds. 

Last year, at the age of 40, I published my first book, "Soul Survivor." My work has since been published in 5 anthologies, and has touched countless people worldwide. 

Writing. It's not what I do. It's who I am.
